The much talked about world class marina will soon be open in St. Thomas. With 16,000 linear feet of dockage this will be a central hub of yachting activity.
Located in the renowned Charlotte Amalie Harbor, yachters worldwide converge here. Construction began in 2004 on the $200 million project. This includes building a marina plus an "upscale" development that will include a boutique hotel, a swimming pool, 125,000 square feet of retail space--Louis Vuitton has signed on--six restaurants, and 12 condominiums with expected selling prices of $2 million. The whole development is slated to have a grand opening on Thanksgiving Day 2006.
